The 2014 Freestyle World Wrestling Championships are underway in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Over 800 wrestlers from 100 countries will put forth their skills and power for medals. The best of the best wrestlers from countries leading the global and Olympic arena in freestyle wrestling, including Russia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Iran, the U.S., Mongolia, Turkey, England, Japan, France, Greece, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Canada, Poland, North Korea, the Czech Republic, South Korea and Slovakia, arrived at the 2014 Freestyle World Wrestling Championships.
Today, winners will be named in the men's freestyle wrestling 57, 70, 86, and 125 kg events.
Mongolian freestyle wrestler State Merit Athlete G.Mandakhnaran grabbed a bronze in the men's 65 kg event at the 2013 Budapest World Freestyle Wrestling Championship and the Mongolian national men's team claimed a place in the World Cup, seizing 8th place with 19 scores.
Today, four Mongolian freestyle wrestlers will have compete in their first rounds. This is the second time at the Freestyle World Wrestling Championships for E.Bekhbayar, B.Ankhbayar, and O.Uitumen, and the fifth time for J.Chuluunbat.
