Golf State Championship was held at Mt.Bogd golf area at Sky Resort, from August 7-10th.

L.Dondovtseren in the men's event and A.Enerel in the women's event took top prize at the 11th Golf State Championships, where 60 male and 7 female athletes competed.

For winner L.Dondovtseren, this was his first win at the Golf State Championships, while A.Enerel earned her second championship title.

At the Gold State Championships 2014, Japanese professional golfer,  participating in the 2009 Masters Tournament, 2002 U.S. Open, 2003 Open Championship 2003, and 2001 PGA Championship, Shingo Katayama took part, at the invitation of the Mongolian Golf Association.

A total of 43 athletes were selected out of 60 for the final stage.

In addition, Mongolian national teams will compete at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games in Incheon, S. Korea, from September 19 – October 4th. In the 2014 Incheon Asian Games, L.Dondovtseren, D.Ulziidelger, G.Mendsaikhan, and B.Altaibaatar will compete in men's golf and A.Enerel, B.Batnaran, and D.Bayarmaa will represent Mongolia in the women's golf event.
