The 2014 FILA Junior World Championships were organized  in Zagreb, Croatia,from August 5-10.

On the fourth day, women's freestyle wrestling events in the 48 kg, 55 kg, 63 kg and 72 kg  weight classes were held. Mongolian athlete A.Battsetseg won gold in the women's 55 kg event at the Junior World Championships.

A.Battsetseg is the 7^th Mongolian athlete to win the FILA Junior World Championships and the third Mongolian female athlete.

Asia Junior Champion A.Battsetseg turned away Ukrainian World Student bronze medalist Tatyana Kit in the 55 kg class to give Mongolia a gold medalist at the junior world meet for the third year in a row.

E.Davaanshimeg won Mongolia’s first gold medal in the 51 kg event in 2012, and S.Tserenchimed  followed with a second gold (59 kg) last year in Sofia. FILA Junior World Championships two-time bronze medalist and silver medalist of the Asia Junior Championships, B.Nyamgerel, won one more bronze medal.

Mongolian athlete Ts.Namuuntsetseg lost to an Indian athlete in the 48 kg event for the bronze medal.
