Monday`s cabinet meeting allowed Foreign Affairs Minister L.Bold to add number of diplomatic officials from Mongolia to Permanent Representative Office to the United Nations (UN) with two-year period considering the need to work closer with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) due to Mongolia was elected to chair the United Nations Environment Assembly for 2014-2016 .
Also the Minister of Environment and Green Development S.Oyun was authorized to appoint a representative of Mongolia to the UNEP Headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya with a two-year period.
Mongolia was elected to chair the United Nations Environment Assembly during the first United Nations Environment Assembly that was held in Nairobi Kenya on June 23-27, 2014.
