Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, paid a two-day official visit to Mongolia, upon the invitation of Foreign Affairs Minister L.Bold, on June 3^rd and 4^th.

Foreign Affairs Minister L.Bold had official talks and exchanged opinions on bilateral economic relations and cooperation with his counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Minister L.Bold said that they had open talks and exchanged views over bilateral and international relations issues. At the meeting, Mongolia expressed its willingness to expand bilateral cooperation in certain fields. Foreign Minister of the Arab Emirates accepted positively Mongolia`s proposal to create a Mongolian-Arab Emirates Intergovernmental Joint Commission and to increase bilateral economic cooperation, particularly in mining, crude oil, infrastructure fields.

In the framework of the visit Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan met President Ts.Elbegdorj and Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag respectively.

This is the first official visit by a Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates to Mongolia since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1996.
