Mongolian mental sports athletes successfully participated in the Philippines International Open Memory Championship that was held in Manila, the Philippines, between May 31st and June 1st.
Asia’s 68 best memory athletes from Mongolia, the Philippines, Indonesia, India and Korea competed in 10 different classes of different ages.
Mongolian memory athletes S.Tsogbadrakh, T.Enkhjin and E.Enkhmunkh participated along with their coach B.Baasandorj and international jury Kh.Khatanbaatar in the Philippines International Open Memory Championship.
Mongolian memory athlete E.Enkhmunkh gained two gold, five silver and two bronze medals; T.Enkhjin took three gold, one silver and three bronze medals; and Grandmaster of memory (GMM) S.Tsogbadrakh won three gold medals and one bronze medal.
The Mongolian team was placed in second with a grand total of 19 gold medals.
GMM S.Tsogbadrakh set a new world record by counting 1408 digits in the 30 minute “Digit marathon” class.
