As part of the celebrations for the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Vietnam, an anniversary conference “Sixty years of good relations and cooperation” was held on May 27th.

The conference was represented by officials from both countries including MP and chairwoman of the Vietnam-Mongolia Friendship Parliamentary Group Z.Bayanselenge, Deputy Foreign Minister D.Gankhuyag, Ambassador of Vietnam to Mongolia Phan Dang Duong and Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.

MP and chairwoman of the Vietnam-Mongolia Friendship Parliamentary Group Z.Bayanselenge gave anniversary greetings in her opening speech, emphasizing intensive bilateral development in politics, economy, business and science.  Z.Bayanselenge also expressed appreciation for the good start in bilateral cooperation between the science academies of the two countries because the Mongolian Academy of Sciences and Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences signed a cooperation agreement.

At the conference cooperation opportunities in industry, mining, energy, infrastructure, road, construction and sea transport, ports and agriculture were exchanged.
