The resignation request of MP and Minister of Agriculture and Industry of Mongolia, Kh.Battulga, from his position as cabinet minister is scheduled to be discussed in Wednesday`s Standing committee meeting on Environment, Food and Agriculture at 2.00 pm. 

The Government was to submit the issue to Parliament for discussion after it had discussed the matter itself. But the Agriculture Minister`s resignation request has been scheduled to be first reviewed in the Standing Committee`s meeting, then to be submitted to Parliament.

MP and Minister of Agriculture Kh.Battulga has not commented on the reason why he wants to resign as Cabinet minister, but said only that he wants to continue his duty as an MP.
