Wednesday`s plenary session meeting of Parliament held the first discussion on the stimulus action plan to revive the economy that was submitted by the Government on May 7<sup>th</sup>. In relation to the Government`s stimulus action plan, MP S.Byambatsogt and L.Enkh-Amgalan put forward a proposal to ease personal tax burdens, however the proposal was not backed. 

MP Ts.Oyunbaatar submitted a proposal to diminish the estimated cost to 30 percent, but this was also rejected. The Finance Minister explained that this issue was placed in the budget amendment of 2014. The budget amendment 2014 states to reduce some expenditure to 10-30 percent.

Lastly, MP.Ts.Oyunbaatar`s suggestion “to ban budget spending for media covering and closing contracts” was backed in the session meeting.
