A month long campaign to test children`s water usage knowledge, develop their skill to save water and promote Mongolia`s beautiful tradition of treasuring mother earth, nature and water was held between March 5th and April 5th by the Ministry of Environment and Green Development. The campaign was held in accordance with the program a World Fit for Children initiated by the UN General Assembly and World Water Day.

During the campaign days, an essay writing contest was held on the topic of “The Value of Water, Ecological value in nature and nature protection” among 9-12 grade students. “Water- In my dream” picture contest was held among 1st to 3rd grade students and “Water and I” hand drawing contests among 4th to 8th grade students in secondary schools.

For the 9th edition of the contest, over 11,200 students from national schools and other school participated in the contests.

The contest to develop children`s good habits to save water and promote Mongolia`s beautiful tradition of treasuring mother earth, nature and water was supported by water distributor Bonaqua.
