The Mongolian People`s Party (MPP) held a peacful demonstration at Chinggis Square (formerly Sukhbaatar Square) at 10.00 am yesterday, April 10th.

Due to the opening of the Spring Session meeting of Parliament, the Reform Government is under severe attack from the opposition party in Parliament, MPP. MPP has criticized Parliament`s failure to control the government and held a demonstration protesting MPs from holding the position of cabinet minister at the same time.

The bill is expected to be discussed today at the Spring plenary session meeting of Parliament, therefore the opposition party is urging the Parliament not to the allow the MPs who hold the position of cabinet minister at the same time to attend the poll.
The opposition also claims that the Reform Government is ignoring any suggestions and initiatives on politics, socio-economic challenging issues made by MPP.

MPP urges the 17 cabinet ministers out of 19 in the Reform Government to reject holding the double position at the same time.
