The General
Intelligence Authority is investigating three Government employees for
allegedly passing on state secrets to foreign powers. Ts.Jargalsaikhan, head of
the neighboring countries desk in Parliament’s Foreign Relations Department, is
believed to have transmitted secret material on the Speaker’s visit to Russia
and on reports on a visit of Chinese officials to Russia. The other two under
investigation are B.Bolor, second secretary in charge of Russian affairs, and
G.Baigalmaa, in charge of China, both in the same Foreign Relations Department.
