Today, to celebrate the Kazakh Holiday of Nauriz, the Day of Nauriz event was held at Chinggis Khaan Square (formerly Sukhbaatar square).

The Kazakh Holiday of Nauriz or the Spring holiday is annually marked by ethnic Kazakh people on March 21st. During the special day Kazakh people promote their own unique traditions and customs in displaying colorful events. For the Kazakh Holiday of Nauriz, the President of Mongolia, Ts.Elbegdorj was present at the event and delivered greetings to the Kazakh people.

Art cultural performances at the Central Cultural Palace will follow the event on Chinggis Square.
