Today the Speaker of Mongolian Parliament Z.Enkhbold is on the third day of an official visit to the Republic of Korea. On Thursday Speaker Z.Enkhbold was received by South Korea”s President, Park Geun-Hye.

At the beginning of the meeting President Park Geun-Hye emphasized the significance of the official visit by Speaker Z.Enkhbold for bilateral relations between the two countries and said that she is glad about improving the bilateral cooperation between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea.

Speaker Z.Enkhbold expressed his thanks to President Park Geun-Hye for her warm welcome and delivered greetings from President Ts.Elbegdorj.

Bilateral relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea have been expanded to include comprehensive partnerships in all fields. Mutual high level visits and talks play an important role in boosting further cooperation between the two countries. The 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea will be marked in 2015.

The Republic of Korea receives nearly 120 thousand Mongolian travelers a year. This is a clear indication of thriving bilateral relations in all fields. The parties exchanged views on visa related issues surrounding the request by Mongolia to reduce requirements and other socio-economic issues.

On the Mongolian side, represented at the meeting with President Park Geun-Hye were MP and Chairman of the Standing Committee on Complaints Resolution R.Burmaa, MP D.Sarangerel, MP O.Baasankhuu and the Ambassador from Mongolia to the Republic of Korea B.Ganbold.
