The Young Women for Change NGO is to hold a peaceful demonstration today, called “Let`s light up the nights”, with the aim to build a safe environment for girls and women, to intercept violations against women, and to raise public awareness for the campaign, which is supported by the Ministry of Justice against gender based violence.

This peaceful demonstration is being held globally under the call of “Take back the night!”.
The demonstrators will leave by bus from the National Institute of Justice near Government House at 18.30 pm with items such as flashlights, torches and cell phone flashlights and will hold the demonstration on a scheduled route.
