Due to an outbreak of animal infectious disease, foot-and-mouth and warmth of weather, Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism has cancelled scheduled events these days.  So Ice Festival scheduled in Khuvsgul aimag, Camel Festival scheduled in Umnugovi aimag on March 18th have been cancelled according to the local governors` decision to cancel.

French and Spanish TVs were to due to report the festivals obtaining mandates a year ago. But the scheduled festivals have been cancelled due to secure public health preventing spread of animal disease.

However the annual Eagle Festival that is traditionally organized since 2011 will be held at Chinggis Khaan Khuree Ger camp on March 5th. Over 20 eagle hunters are arriving for the Eagle Festival from Bayan-Ulgii aimag.
