The board of the Health Sciences University of Mongolia has made an announcement about their decision to change the name of the university to the National University of Medicine.

At the board meeting the board of the University also issued the decision to restructure the university. Under the new structure of the university, seven schools will become five schools and all 68 faculties will be shuffled into 38 faculties and professors` groups will also be created.

The restructure started by the National University of Mongolia now seems to be influencing the restructure of the Health Sciences University of Mongolia.
