The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, L.Bold received John Langtry, Assistant Secretary of the North East Asia Branch at the Australian Foreign Affairs and Trade Department, on Wednesday in preparation for Foreign Minister Bold’s planned official visit to Australia.

At the meeting, the Australian side assured Foreign Minister Bold that the Australian Foreign Minister, Julie Bishop, attaches great importance to his official visit of the to Australia.

The two parties discussed the enrichment of bilateral relations and cooperation in politics, economics, education and the humanities between the two countries and both expressed the willingness to boost bilateral relations and cooperation in partnerships on economy and investment. Foreign Minister Bold emphasized the role of experience and official support of Australia in the human resource sector of Mongolia at this time of mining boom.
