The State Junior Boxing Championships started in Hall A of the Sports Palace on Tuesday February 11th, 2014. The State Junior Boxing Championships are held under the name of the two-time Asian champion, State Merit Athlete of Mongolia, Kh.Altankhuyag.
The State Junior Boxing Championships will be held between February 11th and 16th where 121 athletes from 23 organizations in Ulaanbaatar and the provinces compete in nine men`s and six women`s weight classes.
The winners of the State Junior Boxing Championships will be nominated to participate in the World Youth Boxing Championships in Bulgaria in May and the Asian Youth Boxing Championships in China.
