The 2014 State Championship for Freestyle Wrestling starts today at Buyant Ukhaa sports complex and will end on February 14th.
At the freestyle wrestling State Championship almost 360 freestyle wrestlers from 36 organizations will compete in a total of 16 different weight categories. According to the new FILA Rules of Wrestling and all other Regulations of FILA rules there will be eight women`s class events and eight men`s class events.
Winners of the State Championship 2014 for Free Style Wrestling will be granted the right to take part in the 2014 Asian Wrestling Championships in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia in June.
The winning male freestyle wrestlers of the State Championship 2014 for Free Style Wrestling in each weight class will head to the International Freestyle Wrestling Tournament to be held in Yakutsk in Russia between 7th and 9th March.
