The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, L.Bold met with the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary from Japan to Mongolia, Mr. Takenori Shimizu, and from the Republic of Korea to Mongolia, Mr. Lee Tae-ro on February 4th.

During the meeting with Ambassador Takenori Shimizu, Foreign Minister L.Bold emphasized that bilateral relations had grown in 2013 through the mutual visits by Prime Ministers. Also he commended on the establishment of the Medium-term Strategic Program between Mongolia and Japan as an initiative to activate further bilateral relations development. The Minister and Ambassador exchanged views on how to move forward significantly with beneficial development projects and programs in Mongolia in 2014.

Foreign Minister also exchanged opinions with Ambassador Mr. Lee Tae-ro on a visit to the Republic of Korea by the Foreign Minister of Mongolia. Minister L.Bold and Ambassador Lee Tae-ro specifically emphasized the further intensified bilateral economical cooperation between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea and the need to increase the number of South Korean firms and companies who will invest in Mongolia.
