The Mongolian judo team will be made up of of 18 outstanding athletes, consisting of 11 male and 7 female judokas. They will compete in the Grand Slam Paris between 8th and 9th February, known as the small World Championships due to its reputation and ratings.
The Mongolian judo team includes State Merit Athlete N.Tuvshinbayar, Kh.Tsagaanbaatar, International Judo Master D.Tumurkhulug, State Merit Athlete M.Bundmaa and M.Urantsetseg. They will compete under the guidance of Senior coach of the National judo team O.Baljinnyam and Sh.Tsevelmaa.
According to the schedule of the Grand Slam Paris, the women`s 48 kg, 52 kg, 57 kg and 63 kg classes events and men`s 60 kg, 66 kg and 73 kg events will be organized on the first day of the tournament and the other class events and the prize event will happen on the following day.
In addition, the winner of the Grand Slam Paris will benefit from a 500 score to his rating and silver and bronze winners will benefit from 300 and 200 score.
