Mongolian national team athletes have settled in Olympic village for Sochi 2014 Winter Game. Mongolian athletes began participating in official events on Sunday. The first flag raising ceremony for Mongolia and New Zealand in the Coastal Athlete”s Village at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics was organized on Sunday morning on February 2nd.

The flag raising ceremony is an official event that remained unchanged since the very first  Olympics Game. For the flag raising ceremony officials of the National Olympic Committee representing Mongolia, and International Olympic Committee (IOC) were present.

Mongolia sent two athletes for the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics for cross-country skiing.
