
The first Mongolian female gold medalist of the World Wrestling Championships, Battsetseg Soronzonbold, at 63 kg ranked in at third place whilst State Merit Athlete Nasanburmaa Ochirbat at 67kg progressed to take first place. Burmaa Ochirbat at 72 kg moved to 6th place in the rankings.
For the male rankings the gold medalist of the Grand Prix of Germany, Bekhbayar Erdenebat, at 55 kg was given 8th place, Mandakhnaran Ganzorig the 4th rank and Nomin Batbold was placed in 9th in the rankings.
This is the first time that so many wrestlers from a country have moved into the first 15 places in the FILA world rankings.
