The South Korean Government has increased foreign traveler`s visa application fees from January 2014. Due to the changes in the visa application fees the following changes have been made:

– Single entry visa for a stay of no more than 90 days: US$ 40

-Single entry visa for a stay of more than 90 days: US$ 60

-Double entry visa : US$ 70

-Multiple entry visa: US$ 90

-Permanent residence “F-5” visa fee : 200 thousand won

-Alien registration card fee: 30 thousand won

There have been no previous changes to the South Korean visa service fee since 1998. According to the announcement by the Ministry of Justice, the changes made to the visa fee for foreign travelers are caused by price increases.
