Mongolia`s news channel “Eagle News” has become an official partner with CNN from 2014. As part of the cooperation deal that was signed between Mongol Mass Media group and Turner Broadcasting System, the head company of CNN in 2013, a CNN team including the leading achor, journalist and producer arrived in Mongolia.

The CNN team is conducting a two-day training session with “Eagle news” journalists and producers from Thursday. According to the cooperation deal, Hong Kong based CNN International anchor, correspondent, co-host of World Business Today Pauline Chiou, Senior five-time Emmy Award winner, producer for CNN International,  David Molko, Executive Director, CNN Broadcast Services & Affiliate Relations at Turner International Armie Jarin Bennett are included in the team.

CNN guests and CEO of Mongol Mass Media A.Amundra, Director General of “Eagle News” television channel B.Solongo held a joint conference announcing their partnership on Thursday January 9th.

CNN is the world leading news channel. This is an original source for delivering news uninterruptedly and a brand that is most popular, trusted and reliable for delivering news from confirmed sources. “Eagle News” has made the first step to underline these principles in Mongolian media.  “Eagle News” became a 100 percent Mongolian owned channel from 2011 to partner with CNN and progressed into producing systems since May 2013. In June 2013 it launched Eagle live channel and Eagle.mn, official web site.

As a result “Eagle News” has launched an official partnership with CNN. The training by CNN team, the first move of the partnership, provides great opportunity to the “Eagle News” team of 30 journalists and producers to share successful journalist and producers` techniques and preparation for news and program and ethics.

“Eagle News”, established in 1995, now delivers daily 17 hours of news program through satellite, cable and online technology that is available for audience to access wherever they are. “Eagle News” broadcasts five hours of daily live programming on the scene, and breaking news from CNN official source.
