
At the first three –party intergovernmental consultative meeting Mongolian part was chaired by Minister of Road and Transport A.Gansukh, Russian delegates by Deputy Head of Federal Agency for Railway Transport, Mitsuk Igor Vladimirovich, Chinese delegates by Deputy Director of State Railways Administration, Chen Lanhua.
At the meeting Russian and Chinese parties discussed issues on turnover outlooks between China-Russia and China-Europe, railway lines lead to Mongolia, importance of trans-Mongolian railway and development of cooperation on Ulaanbaatar railway technical reforms between Mongolia, China and Russia. Chinese and Russian railway officials raised demands for strengthening development of the Ulan-Ude – Naushki – Erlyan – Jining transport corridor during the meeting.
Finally parties issued a joint statement together to develop transit transport between Mongolia, China and Russia. Mongolia, Russia and China agreed to set a comprehensive plan in a bid to develop further Ulan-Ude – Naushki – Erlyan – Jining transport corridor in the first quarter of 2014.
