Mongolian People`s Party (MPP) caucus sought the resignation of two cabinet ministers. Minority 26 MPs voted for the resignation of Finance Minister Ch.Ulaan and Economic Development Minister N.Batbayar and submitted the demand to parliament on Monday December 16th.

According to the Law on the Rules of Procedures of the Parliament”s Session, Standing Committee should discuss issue and make decision in a week. And parliament should hear the Standing Committee decision and conduct an open vote on the issue during a session meeting in a week since the Standing Committee makes  its decision.

If the vote is conducted behind closed door the two cabinet ministers would be resigned several political observers say. But some say the two ministers would stay in cabinet.
