Mongolian state run Mongol Post Company has announced to collectors, enthusiasts and Beatles fans that it is releasing its 970th stamp featuring the Beatles.

This is the first time that the famous band from Liverpool, England has been featured on stamps released by the Mongol Post Company in Mongolia. The serial stamp covers the Beatles, featuring a performance by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. The depiction of the Beatles was painted by general artist in Orkhon province, D.Batbileg in oil paint.
