As part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence in Mongolia, the NGO National Center Against Violence are holding a photography exhibition including the stories and photos of four survivors of domestic violence (who are now safe) across Ulaanbaatar in various locations over the period of the campaign.

The purpose of the campaign is to raise awareness of domestic violence in Mongolia, where this is still considered a private issue. We are also campaigning for the amended Law on Combating Domestic Violence to be passed by the Mongolian Parliament, which among other things, specifies domestic violence as a crime and provides increased recourse for victims.
