The Mayor of Ulaanbaatar City, E.Bat-Uul, issued a decree on Thursday December 5th to organize a New Year`s festival for children. Under the decree the Ulaanbaatar municipality is to organize a New Year`s festival for 1000 children who live in low income families or children with disabilities in Ulaanbaatar for the upcoming celebration of the new year. 

Traditionally, talented children from the Mongolian Children`s Palace perform a concert for the New Year`s festival for children that is annually organized under the auspices of the Ulaanbaatar City Governor. The Ulaanbaatar municipality has planned to spend 20 million MNT for gifts for the children at the New Year`s festival.
