
At the meeting Mongolian delegates attended lead by Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, L.Bold. On the second day of the NATO Foreign Ministerial meeting Foreign Minister L.Bold met NATO Deputy Secretary General Ambassador Alexander Vershbow for bilateral talks.
Foreign Minister L.Bold expressed his satisfaction on the process and balance of bilateral partnership programs. L.Bold exchanged views on the future expectations for bilateral cooperation, in particular, Mongolia`s role to ISAF, future participation, efforts for 2014 and security in the Northeastern Asian region.
Mongolia is NATO”s latest Asia-Pacific partner country, having only becoming a member in March 2012, after the signing of an Individual Partnership and Cooperation Programme.
