The Yuri Nikulin Moscow Circus, named after Russia”s most famous clown, has arrived in Mongolia with 28 artists. The Yuri Nikulin Circus or Old Circus will hold performances at the Mongolian National Circus between 7th and 14th December, 2013. The Moscow circus has previously visited Mongolia several times. But this is the first time that the Moscow Circus’ world tour “Circus on ice” is to be performed in Ulaanbaatar.

The National Circus of Mongolia in association with the “Development Center of Mongol Circus” NGO contacted the Moscow circus three years ago inviting them in Mongolia for a performance. The Moscow circus show that included all different kinds of acts gives its audience the opportunity to see how ice skaters perform rope tricks, dance on a bike and fly through the air.

Moscow Circus on Tsvetnoi Boulevard was the only circus in Moscow between 1926 and 1971 and still remains the most popular one. Now the circus tours to over 30 countries every year.
