The President of Mongolia, Ts.Elbegdorj is currently on a tour of state visits in Southeast Asian countries including the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Republic of Singapore. President Elbegdorj has now left to conduct a state visit in Hong Kong on November 27th, 2013.

President Elbegdorj delivered a speech at the Mongolia-Singapore business forum during his visit to the country on November 25th. Following this the President attended “The World in 2014” international economic event.  Daniel Franklin, Executive Editor of the Economist magazine made an opening address, after which President Elbegdorj was invited to give an interview. The President spoke on issues of the challenges of democracy, the economic situation, government policy “From big government to smart government”, foreign investment and foreign policy.
