A nationwide Household Livelihood Survey was launched today, November 25th 2013 and will run until December 9th. The survey aims to reveal the level of household living standards, to promote state services for social welfare, infrastructure, employment and education, to involve households and the population in equal and accessible education and health services and to endorse Government and International NGO backed programs and projects.

The Labor and Social Welfare Service Office, Governor`s office and Citizens Representative Khural in provinces and districts are conducting the preparations and will collect information from citizens for the survey. From the result of the Household Livelihood Survey, an online data on every citizen and household will be established. 

The establishment of an online database is expected to completed this year. The survey results will be released in 2014 to be reported to the Government.
