President Ts.Elbegdorj is currently conducting state visits to Asian countries. On Thursday November 21st President Elbegdorj was welcomed by the Ambassador from Mongolia to Vietnam, D.Enkhbat, Chairman of the Presidential Office of Vietnam Dao Viet Trung, Ambassador from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Mongolia Hoan Tuan Thin and other officials at the Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. On his arrival in Vietman President Ebegdorj was received by on honorary guard.
The President of the Socialist Republic Vietnam, Truong Tan Sang, received his Mongolian counterpart at the Presidential Palace on November 21st.
During the meeting the President of the Socialist Republic Vietnam, Truong Tan Sang, said “I express my sincere gratitude to the Honorable President Ts.Elbegdorj and his accompanying officials for visiting our country. Welcome to Vietnam. The two countries are going to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Vietnam in 2014. I believe your visit will push the expansion of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.”
President Ts.Elbegdorj responded “I am truly glad to visit your beautiful country on the invitation of honorary Mr President.
“The diplomatic relations that our former leaders made have cleared the way for good bilateral relations. From time to time the bilateral relations between Mongolia and Vietnam are expanded. I believe this visit will strength the bilateral relations between our two countries. I am contented that our two countries continue frequent state level talks and visits. Vietnam is Mongolia`s traditional good partner. I see great opportunities for the increase of relations in many fields.”
President Truong Tan Sang commented that he is glad that the bilateral relations keep increasing between Mongolia and Vietnam and added that he will pay attention to boost bilateral relations.
Following the meeting President Truong Tan Sang invited President Elbegdorj to have official talks.
