Members of the Mongolian People`s Revolutionary Party (MPRP) have reached a decision to say farewell to their current chairman, former President N.Enkhbayar. The reason is simple. Firstly he has a bad health condition. Members of the party claim that the party rating has fallen and the party has run for the past two years without a leader due to Enkhbayar`s corruption case and health condition. They claim that not one of them is sure how long this will last.

The members of MPRP delivered a letter to the Chairman of the party, N.Enkhbayar, who is now taking treatment for his health problems in South Korea.

The letter said that “We have no doubt that the respected Chairman of the MPRP N.Enkhbayar can relinquish the post, given his position as former chairmen of Mongolian People`s Party (MPP), S.Bayar, Su.Batbold and U.Khurelsukh as you always declare that post is not a goal but work”.

The members of MPRP requested that the chairman of the party N.Enkhabayar step down giving a chance to the younger generation to lead the party.

They also wrote about internal problems within the party among members, for example biasing ordinary members. The letter therefore suggested having the issue of the retirement of the chairman discussed during the party conference that will be held soon.
