The Anti-Corruption Authority along with the Mongolian Women Lawyers” Association reported on Mongolia”s ranking for the level of bribery prevalence during a press conference on Monday November 18th, 2013.

According to the report, Mongolia ranked in at 106th place out of 107 countries with its level of bribery. The tendency of bribery in government agencies and of civil servants is likely to rise, the report shows.

The report suggests the sectors where there is the highest level of bribery prevalence in Mongolia. The Authority of Land Administration tops all the other sectors for where the highest level of bribery occurred in Mongolia.

The top five sectors are the Authority of Land Administration, the Mining sector, the Police and Judicial system, the Specialized Inspection Agency, Political partys and Customs Officials.

The reports were made from a wide range of studies that have been conducted since 2006.
