President Ts.Elbegdorj began a state visit to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on Monday November 18th, 2013.

President Elbegdorj and following officials and business delegates were welcomed  at Naypyidaw International Airport by Ambassador from Mongolia to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Ch.Battumur, Burma”s Foreign Minister Wunna Maung Lwin and other officials with a respectful honorary guard. 

President Elbegdorj along with his counterpart, the President of Burma Thein Sein, attended the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between Mongolian and Myanmar.

The Foreign Minister of Mongolia L.Bold and Burma”s Foreign Minister Wunna Maung Lwin signed a reciprocal visa exemption arrangement between Mongolia and Myanmar.

The President of Burma Thein Sein invited President Ts.Elbegdorj to a state dinner in honor of his Mongolian counterpart and they exchanged souvenirs with each other. After the dinner cultural performances were presented to President Elbegdorj to honor the visit.
