
The 12 storey Judo Tournament Palace is to be build including offices, accommodation for athletes, a fitness club, 800-1000 seats judo sport hall with 4 tatami, a large swimming pool, a hospital and training hall.
The ceremony was attended by the first deputy director of the Mongolian Judo Federation, D.Ganbaatar, President of the Federation M.Munkhbat, Olympic champion N.Tuvshinbayar, World champion Kh.Tsagaanbaatar, Mongolian judo team general coach O.Baljunnyam and judokas and coaches of the Mongolian judo team.
The construction of the new judo tournament palace needs 17 billion MNT to be successfully completed. The Mongolian Judo Federation has planned for the palace construction to start in 2014.
