The first forum on the software industry in Mongolia, an initiative by the Information Technology, Post and Communication Authority of Mongolia, began at 9.00 am on November 11th at Best Western Premier Tuushin hotel.

Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag will deliver an opening address at the forum.

The key topics to be discussed at the software forum, held with the theme of “Mongolian mind  – Mongolian brand”,  will be the development  of information technology particularly the future of software and collaboration between government and private enterprises to provide support for the field. A guideline will also be issued at the software forum.

Over 350 participants including representatives of Mongolian software companies, experts from all levels of state information technology organizations, doctors, professors, fellows and researchers from the national institutes and universities and software personnel are expected to attend the first software forum in Mongolia.
