
M.Enkhbold, Deputy Speaker, is to take the post as the head of MPP, the oldest party in Mongolian political history, to succeed the current party leader, U.Enkhtuvshin.
The 18th Assembly for MPP closed on the third day with the announcement of the new head of the party.The Assembly will continue on Wednesday for the fourth day to elect members of the Party Conference meeting and Monitoring Committee according to the new rules recently passed.
The Assembly will also elect the Secretary General of MPP. According to the new rules of the party, the head of the party will suggest the candidates for the Secretary General.
