Due to the complaints by Mobicom subscribers the Authority for Fair Competition and Consumer Protection has conducted an inspection of the corporation to ensure that the law on fair competition is being complied with.
When the inspection results were released it revealed that Mobicom corporation charged excessively for its postpaid service.
Following the inspection the Authority for Fair Competition and Consumer Protection delivered a notice to Mobicom. Executive Director of MobiCom Corporation, David Holliday replied to the note agreeing to the faults saying “Our company charged excessively due to a postpaid service contractors payment imbalance on October 26th 2013”.
Now the Authority for Fair Competition and Consumer Protection is conducting an inspection to reveal whether the incident on October 26th was the first offense or a repeated action.
