A veteran executive at Walt Disney Imagineering, the division of The Walt Disney Company that designs and builds Disney”s theme parks and resort hotels, Joseph Rohde has arrived in Mongolia.

Mr. Rohde is planning to stay in Mongolia for one week. The veteran executive at Walt Disney is responsible for the creation of Walt Disney fairy tales. He also devotes some portion of his income from the production company to saving the snow leopard.

This time, Mr Rohde is to travel to Khovd and Bayan-Ulgii provinces in Western Mongolia to draw snow leopards in order to raise awareness of the plight of this rare animal. Mr. Rohde has devoted many years to work on saving and protecting snow leopards and has launched many public awareness actions. 

Mr. Rhode will hold an auction to sell the photos from Khovd and Bayan-Ulgii provinces in Western Mongolia at 976 Gallery on October 13th in order to donate the money from the auction to the “Snow Leopard Mongolia” and the “Snow Leopard Conservancy” organizations.
