The 21st edition of the “Mongolian Children”s Choir Festival”  is coming soon on the 374th anniversary of the establishment of the capital city. The Mongolian Children’s Choir Contest has been held annually since it was first held by the Culture and Art Authority of Ulaanbaatar in 1993 to award the best child choir group.

The Contest was named after the Mongolian Hero of Labor and State Award Recipient composer, prominent choirmaster D.Luvsansharav in 2005. The “Mongolian Children’s Choir Festival”  will be attended by over 6000 children from 90 school choirs including the Music and Dance college, the Mongolian Children`s Palace, the Mongolian-Russian joint school number 3, the 116th special school and the children`s choir group of the 42nd kindergarten in the City.

The first contest of the “Mongolian Children’s Choir Festival”  will be held between October 9th and 11th to select the three best choir groups in every district to compete in the final stage.

The final stage will be organized at the Mongolian Children`s Palace on October 23rd.

On the 374th anniversary of the establishment of the Capital City, the winning choir groups will perform at the Central Cultural Palace on October 29th.
