A task force lead by the Chief of the Aggravated Crime Division of the State Investigation Department is still conducting an investigation into the fire case.

Over 60 experts are working to inspect the reason behind the fire at Narantuul market where 15,000 renters and vendors run their businesses.

The inspection and evaluation of damaged goods and properties of renters is currently in the final phase.

Even thought the first reports on the fire investigation and inspection have been released the cause of the fire is still a mystery.
 
So far 11 people have been questioned as suspect in the fire case. Four of the suspects were detained then released on bail to be questioned.
