The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia L.Bold received the Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to Mongolia, Valdemor Karneiro Leao-Neto, to accept his letter of credence on Tuesday September 10th.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, L.Bold congratulated Mr. Valdemor Karneiro Leao-Neto on being appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federative Republic of Brazil to Mongolia.

At the meeting L.Bold stated that Mongolia is to open its Embassy in Brasilia in Brazil, the first ever Embassy in Latin America to boost bilateral ties with countries of Latin America.

In return the Ambassador of Brazil, Valdemor Karneiro Leao-Neto praised the decision to establish an Embassy of Mongolia in Brasilia. Then Ambassador Valdemor Karneiro Leao-Neto emphasized that he will make an effort to boost bilateral relations and cooperation particularly in the agricultural sector and support collaboration on sport and tourism.

The parties also discussed the cultivation of mutually beneficial cooperation and convenience of travel reciprocally for multilateral cooperation between the two countries.

At the end of the meeting the Minister of Foreign Affairs, L.Bold congratulated the new Ambassador again on being given the post as ambassador to Mongolia.
