Ph.D.Sh.Boldbaatar previously published a book introducing 102 species of birds in 2008. This was the first ever photo guide to birds in Mongolia.
However the book needed to be republished because tourists and foreign bird-watchers were very interested in the photo guide. Therefore Ph.D.Sh.Boldbaatar re-published the book making it meet world standard.
The new “A photo guide to Mongolian birds” contains 175 species of birds by location, spread and photos.
Each bird presented in the book is shown in three photos taken at three different sides. The definition written in Mongolian and English is helpful to bird watching students and tourists.
A study shows that Mongolia is the habitat of 472 species of birds 60 percent of which are migratory birds.
