
“World Folk 2013” featured more than 100 performers from 24 countries. “Domog” (Legend) folk music group from Mongolia won the First Prize of the World Championship of Folklore.
“Domog” (Legend) folk music ensemble consists of “Domog” folk music group, dancers, Mongolian throat singers and contortionists.
“Domog” folk music group competed in the group category for old urban songs to win the first prize “Golden Orpheus”, a gold medal and a diploma of “Absolute Wolrd Champion of Folklore” for 2013.
The World Folk Academy honored the maestro Art Director and State Prized Artist of Mongolia D.Sosorbaram for his work in six performances during The World Championship of Folklore “World folk 2013”.
The European Association of Folklore Festivals (EAFF) and the World Association of Folklore Festivals (WAFF) jointly organized the World Championship of Folklore “World folk 2013” with the support of UNESCO.
