Mongolians mark today, July 10th, as State Flag Day. The Ceremony for State Flag Day begins on the Sukhbaatar Square.

State Flag Day has been annually observed nationally since the law on the National observation day for the State Flag was introduced in 2009.

The law initiated by MPs S.Bayartsogt and J.Sukhbaatar was designed to promote respect for traditional customs, history and national unity in 2008.

State Flag Day is observed nationally by presenting a military parade on Sukhbaatar Square showing respect to the State Flag of Mongolia.

This year State Flag Day falls on the same day as the Presidential Inauguration Ceremony.
